Children's Masses

Masses are scheduled on Wednesday(K-4) and Friday(5-8) at 9:00 am. Each week students serve as cantors. The singing of the cantors, however, is not enough. We need all of the student's to participate! Those who sing pray twice.

What a Beautiful Mass!

Even though we are temporarily displaced, we were able to celebrate mass at St. Richard Church. Sometimes a different atmosphere can really help us to experience things in a different way. Of course there is "no place like home", but a little change once in a while goes a long way to enhance the experience. Sarah and Kelsey, our sixth Grade Cantors were really great and the Children's choir helped out with the singing. Elizabeth was a wonderful lector and Father Dorsey always presents a thoughtful and appropriate message for the students.

Student Cantors

Students in grades 3 through 8 are eligible to audition for service as a cantor at mass. Being a cantor is fun and is also a great way to use your gifts to serve God. Being a cantor is however, is a form of service, not performance. Leading song at our masses must be approached with honor, diligence, and humility. We are blessed to have talented cantors at St. Ursula School who take the job seriously, work hard, and serve with respect and love for God.

Choir at School Masses

Look for the Children's Choir who will be serving at upcoming combined or "All School" masses. These great singers work very hard and will be a beautiful addition to our liturgies.
