Students at St. Ursula School can participate in following
Diocesan League sports: basketball, cheerleading, cross country, soccer, and
football (through neighboring schools).

Sports Registration Requirements
To participate in sports at St. Ursula, students must complete
the following three forms: the Medical Release form, the Athlete's
Emergency Information form, and the Diocese of Pittsburgh Insurance Form. The forms
are
available online as a PDF. Please print a copy and return it to the school.
Forms are also available from the St. Ursula Athletic Association. Students
participating in more than one sport will be required to file only one set of
forms for the entire school year.

Sports offered at St. Ursula School
Basketball is offered at all levels beginning with developmental teams in
the intermediate grades and continuing with separate boys and girls junior
varsity and varsity levels. Go to the boys

Cross Country is offered in the Fall and Spring for students in grades 4
through 8. (See schedule below). Go to the cross country schedule.
Soccer
Fall & Spring -
offers two coed levels. The varsity team is composed of students
in grades 7 & 8 and the junior varsity is for students in grades 5 & 6. Fall and
Spring seasons last eight weeks. Coed soccer is also offered at the
developmental level, starting in grades 3 & 4. For soccer schedules, games,

JV, Varsity, and Developmental soccer are listed below.
Spring Training - Practices are two days a week and are held in April and
May.
Summer Family Running & Walking Program
Families are invited to come to Hartwood Acres to either run or walk with
other St. Ursula families. This program is Monday nights from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm
during the summer months.
Sports available
at neighboring schools
Football - Boys in grades
fourth through eighth are invited to play either varsity or JV on one of the
following school teams: St. Bonaventure, St. Mary, and St. Sebastian. The
football season begins in the middle of August ends at the end of October.
Please contact any of these schools for more details on joining their football
teams.
