Strike Up the Band!
Spring is in the air -- at St. Ursula it is accompanied by beautiful
music!
With every class and lesson, students improve skills and learn to appreciate and
share the sound of music. St. Ursula Band is preparing for many spring concerts
under the direction of Mrs. Susan Chambers. In addition to the school
performances in December and May, additional upcoming concerts include the PMEA
Jr. High Honors band performing at Hampton High School on Saturday, March 5, at
2:00p.m. Eric H. (7th grade) Dan Z. (8th grade) will represent our school. The
North District All Star Band will be Sunday, March 27th at 3:00p.m. at North
Catholic High School. Catherine C., Mary C., Erica D., Eric H., Matt M., Bridget
M., John M., Christin M., Luke M., and Dan Z. are the performing musicians.
Matthew M. played his trombone in the South District All Star Band held at Seton
LaSalle High School on Sunday, February 27th at 3:00p.m.
